Microsoft Outlook, the Microsoft Office electronic day planner, helps you communicate through e-mail, schedule and track your daily activities, and maintain your address book and calendar. Folders organize and store the information these activities generate. Each folder also serves as a home base or the place you go to conduct the business at hand—compose e-mail in the Inbox, refer to your address book in Contacts, and so on. (You can only access these folders from within Outlook, however, so don’t look for them on your hard disk.)
