Formatting Text and Lists

As we noted in the previous chapter, OneNote is designed for freeform note-taking. That doesn’t mean its contents have to be a jumble, however. You can alter the look of text that you type on a OneNote page by changing fonts and font sizes or adjusting attributes. You can add bullets or automatically number items in a list. Outlining tools allow you to organize ideas into a hierarchy. You can even alter the format of the page itself by adding lines, rules, and background images.
