Because there are so many things you can do with Excel, it naturally needs to offer its users a long list of commands—and along with them, a long list of keyboard equivalents.
Needless to say, you may never have to use some of these, but they're available, and as your knowledge of Excel expands you may want to explore more of them. Table 2 lists a lengthy assortment of keyboard equivalents that employ the Ctrl key. While you may not yet understand what some of them do, by the time your reach the end of this book they should make a lot more sense.
