Linking or embedding information into another file is just the beginning. Linked and embedded objects are incredibly versatile, and this section shows you all the things you can do with them. Most of the time, you want the information in linked and embedded objects to be visible at all times, but these objects can just as easily keep a low profile as icons until you want to see what they have to show.
