iostat [-a][-l][-s][-t][-T][-z] [{-A [-P] [-q|Q]} | {-d|-D [-R]} ]
[-m] [Drives] [Interval [Count]]The iostat command is another good first-impression type of tool, which is more commonly used for I/O information. When run with the –t flag, it provides only tty/cpu information. I also like to use the –T flag to obtain the timestamp:
