Assess Vulnerabilities Using Nessus

Okay, so you’ve taken all the usual advice about creating a secure system. You’ve enabled only the services you actually need. You’re running SuSeFirewall2. You’ve downloaded all the security-related updates from YaST Online Update. You’ve tightened down the file permissions as far as you can. Can you be sure that your system is secure? Well, it will certainly be more secure than if you hadn’t done those things, but to answer the question with more confidence, consider running a security assessment tool.
