3.12. Printing

All the programs on your computer are set to print through a common printing framework, so all you have to do to print from within a program is to go to the File menu and select Print. If you’re used to Windows or Mac OS X, this process should already be familiar to you.

If you need to adjust your printer’s settings (color depth, paper size, and so on), you can click the Properties button in the Print dialog, or select Printer Properties from the File menu of whatever program you are trying to print from.
