BizTalk Server is a great product; isn’t it? Having worked with the product since its inception, I came to love it with the 2004 version, when the architecture and tooling was changed significantly and the product became mature enough to serve enterprises in their quest to deploy one integration product for both application-to-application (A2A) and business-to-business (B2B) integration. Since the 2004 version, BizTalk has been deployed more than 10,000 times, and it has become a serious competitor and even trendsetter in the service-oriented architecture (SOA) and enterprise service bus (ESB) world. Some of the world’s largest companies use it as their mission-critical integration environment and have built successful, extremely scalable global integration services on it.
