I am rarely sufficiently frustrated to spend time passing on negative feedback, but this book must have about a 50% failure rate of references in the text to screen images which don't match with each other. So if you try and follow the examples as a form of practice, you waste a lot of time trying to work out how the text and the result manage to relate to each other.
Just one example of many to illustrate - figure 16.4.
If you just skim the text you might not really notice.
Topic coverage of typical product usage is good though, imo.
