23.4. Summary

This chapter introduced the concept of Business Intelligence (BI) and the variety of ways that Dynamics CRM makes BI easy for users, lessening their reliance on busy IT departments or costly consultants.

Dynamics CRM is designed to make it easy for users to consume and analyze data when and how they want, with built-in tools that are both powerful and intuitive. Some of the quickest ways that users can begin to create their own reports are through the Advanced Find tool, the Report Wizard, and by using Excel for analysis. There are also a couple dozen reports included with Dynamics CRM for analysis of traditional customer relationship management functions.
