    9.6. Using a USB Key for Restoring Backups

    SBS 2011 Essentials makes it easy to create a bootable USB key from which an entire computer can be restored using an existing backup. To run the wizard, open the Dashboard, select Computers And Backup, and then follow these steps:

    1. In the Computers And Backup Tasks pane, select Additional Client Computer Backup Tasks.

    2. In the Computer Recovery area, click Create Key.

    3. You’re prompted to insert a USB key into the server. Do so and then click Next.

    4. Select the USB drive to use. Select the check box to acknowledge your understanding that the USB drive will be formatted and all existing files on it deleted. Click Next.

    5. The USB key will be formatted and made ready for a backup.
