Chapter 5. Getting Started Tasks

After you have installed Windows Small Business Server 2011 Essentials, there are some typical chores to be completed and services to be set up before your network is complete. Not all of these chores need to be done at once, and some don’t need to be done at all, but you do need to review the list.

Start by opening the Windows Small Business Server 2011 Dashboard. On the Home page, as shown in Figure 5-1, you’ll see a list of tasks to be completed. Some might already have check marks next to them, but all can be modified.
