Custom Postmortem Debuggers in Vista

On the new Vista installation we have neither drwtsn32.exe nor NTSD.

Despite that, any application that can attach to a process based on its PID and save its memory state in a dump file will do as a postmortem debugger. The first obvious candidate is userdump.exe which actually can properly setup itself in the registry. Here are the detailed instructions.
