IT can deploy virtualization host servers to many areas of the organization, depending on the needs of virtual workloads. The purpose of step 8 is to choose the most appropriate approach for determining where servers should go. Specific decisions are based on user needs in addition to business and technical requirements. If IT will support several different scenarios within the virtual infrastructure, it is likely that all options will be used.
