IT Platform

Diggit has traditionally spent its IT budget on separate compute, storage, and networking equipment, but after working on the business case with Cisco, it now sees the value of an Integrated Compute Stack (ICS) and has opted to standardize its data center POD on the Cisco/NetApp FlexPod design pattern. An individual POD would consist of three 12.5-kW racks containing network connectivity, six blade chassis, four rack servers, and a NetApp FAS 3240 HA filer. Table A-1 provides the details for the racks.
