    5.36. Rescanning Host Bus Adapters

    5.36.1. Problem

    You wish to rescan the host bus adapters in your ESX Server. This is useful if you add new LUNs or need to troubleshoot HBAs. To view a list of HBAs in your ESX Server, you can use the esxcfg-vmhbadevs command referenced in Section 5.43.

    5.36.2. Solution

    Run the esxcfg-rescan or esxcfg-advcfg command on the ESX Server.
