If I could assign homework, I would make this appendix required reading so you would know in advance all the sources for help.

If you are new to Lion, you are going to have many questions along the way, but you have lots of resources for getting help, not the least of which are all the audio and video files that go with this book. Unfortunately, where and how to get help is like so many other things to a new user—it’s not all that obvious. This chapter may be the most extensive coverage of the topic that you will see in any book. If you take the time to learn to use the different Help resources, you’ll be a more informed and self-sufficient user. You’ll also remember something better if you’ve sweated over it a little to learn it.
