Preface to the Second Edition

The first print of this book was published with a view to enable the readers to understand the processes that take place in the formation and projection of personality. The book was laid out in two parts. Part I of the book covered the factors that influence the formation and development of personality and the methodology to be adopted by a person to develop self or his/her dependents. Part II of the book covered the aspects that help a person to project his/her personality objectively. It covered the issues that influence a person's image in face to face interactions, as well as, interactions that take place through telephonic communications and video conferences.

From the volume of sale of the book, its translation in some of the regional languages, and the feedback received from the readers, it appears that the contents of the first print of the book are very pertinent and need no change. Those have, therefore, been left undisturbed in the second print of the book. However, a number of readers had suggested that a chapter on Time Management needs be added in the second edition of the book. That has been done by adding Chapter 17 in this edition of the book. The added chapter covers the problems, principles and techniques of time management in today's world. It addresses the needs of the professionals, managers, subordinates and the students.

I request the readers to keep on forwarding any suggestions that they may have. It will be my pleasure to attend to those in subsequent prints of the book.
