Shopping Mall Visits

Again, I got this tip from Peter Lynch. Make a regular habit of visiting different retail malls and while walking around, look at the crowded and new stores. Check out the products and casually ask other shoppers why they like the store. Research whether the company is publicly traded and start the research process. I found many of my big winners this way.

If you have children and a spouse, examine their shopping habits; their interests may constantly be changing to different products manufactured by different companies. Pay attention to whether they recently started buying new products. If you have teenaged children, you can get easily learn about a new fashion-products company.
