Creating an Interface through Flash MX

As you might have noticed in the last section, many extensions now come complete with nice Flash-based interfaces for users to input parameters and other controls. Now, the very idea of creating extensions may seem beyond you at the moment, but you can easily create the basic commands necessary, even with no programming skills. Indeed, in the last hour you saved some steps from the History panel as a Command script, opened the steps in a text editor, and looked at the code.

To recap: Every movement you make in Fireworks is remembered in the History panel. Saving these steps creates a script complete with a code that tells Fireworks what actions to perform on a specific object.
