You cannot save a single action—you can only save a set that contains at least one action. Users save sets for two reasons: To keep actions on their own hard drive for future loading, and to distribute actions to other users. Once saved, the set and all of its actions will appear in a single file, which you can later add to the Actions palette using one of the Load Actions commands. To save a set, follow these steps:
1. |
Select the single set you wish to save. (If you select multiple sets or a single action, the Save Actions command is not available.) |
2. |
Choose Save Actions from the palette submenu. |
3. |
In the navigational window that appears, determine the location of the new set file. |
4. |
Click Save. |
