Chapter 1. Preferences and Settings

This chapter ensures a common understanding of terminology. That way when I say to “go to the options bar” or “undock your Layer Comps palette,” then you know what I am referring to. So even if you are an experienced user, you might want to at least browse through this chapter. Personally, I like lots of pictures. I think they allow experienced people to faster find what they need and novices to understand that much quicker. It follows that I would include heaps of pictures as well!
