If you use an on-camera flash to take people pictures, you’re bound to get some red eye shots eventually. If that happens, click the Red Eye Correction tool on the toolbar. This is one of the easiest tools to use, and it does a fantastic job of eliminating red eye.
Follow these steps to remove red eye from your images.
1. Click the Red Eye Correction tool in the toolbar (the icon looks like an eye).
2. Hold down the spacebar and drag your photo around in the preview window until you find the eye(s) that you want to correct.
3. Release the spacebar, and then place your cursor crosshairs directly in the center of the pupil. Click and drag out a circular selection around the pupil (Figure 4.12).
