poring over the picture This image is a scene you've probably seen before. It's the first view that you see when you enter Machu Picchu, the fifteenth-century home of the Inca. I took over two thousand images while I wandered the grounds, but this one was special because it was my first view of the entire ruins. It was the view I had dreamed of for a long time. I'm glad I have Lightroom to make my image look just like I remember it. The Clarity was raised to increase midtones and add some visual impact. A slight crop removed some unwanted clutter and straightened the buildings a bit.
