Masking Layers in Producer

A mask is a type of layer that is used to block out areas of a layer below it. You can use masking layers to hide parts of a photo, create borders, and blend images.

To create a masking layer, open the Slide Options dialog by clicking the Slide button or double-clicking the selected slide. With the Layers/Editing tab selected, click the Add button, and choose Add Masking Layer > Add Gradient (Figure 5.78).
