Places Mini-Maps in the Information Pane

Don't worry if you don't have a camera with location data capabilities. iPhoto lets you manually add location data to your photos quickly and easily. Additionally, iPhoto lets you change the location of a photograph that is already assigned a specific place.

You already explored the Information pane in detail in Chapter 3. It's the information window you access by clicking the Info button in the iPhoto toolbar. Inside every Information pane for any selected event, photo, or album, you'll see a Places header. When you expand the Places header, you'll see a mini-map (Figure 6–9) that shows the location of the selected photo or the locations of all the photos in a selected event.
