3.7. Exercise 2—Red eye fix

Have you ever gotten film back from the developer only to find that all the people have menacing red eyes? This is called red eye and is a problem that happens when the strong light of a camera's flash reflects off the back of an eye. Many digital cameras have ways to minimize this effect, but it can still happen in certain lighting conditions. This can be disturbing and ruin a photo, but with a few quick steps, you can rid your photo of these picture-wrecking problems. See Figure 3-52 for the final results of this process.
