Safari Books Online is a digital library providing on-demand subscription access to thousands of learning resources.
Older versions of iPhoto offered just one way to export your photos as a slideshow: Export a basic QuickTime movie. You can still do that—and that method has its advantages, namely smaller file size. But in addition to the time-honored QuickTime export, iPhoto ’11 gives you an even easier way: Slideshow Export.
The Slideshow Export feature lets you convert your instant and saved slideshows into custom-sized QuickTime movies designed to look good on specific screens, like an iPhone or an iPad. And these easy-to-save clips even retain the fancy theme animations, music, and other settings of an iPhoto slideshow, described back in Chapter 6.
To use Slideshow Export, all you need is…a slideshow.
