Safari Books Online is a digital library providing on-demand subscription access to thousands of learning resources.
iPhoto also offers saved slideshows, each of which appears as an icon in your Source list. The beauty of this system is that you can tweak a slideshow to death—you can even set up different transition and speed settings for each individual slide—and then save all your work as an independent clickable icon, ready for playback whenever you’ve got company. Saved slideshows are also a snap to shuttle over to your iPad, iPhone, or iPod for musical memories on the go (Exporting a Saved Slideshow).
Here’s how you create and fine-tune a saved slideshow, which is easier than ever in iPhoto ’11:
Select the photos you want to include.
You can select either a random batch of slides (using any of the techniques described on Selecting Photos) or an icon in the Source list (like an album, Place, or Face).
