Lightroom is Adobe's attempt to put much of the workflow discussed in the previous chapters into one program. This one window takes you through its "Modules" that facilitate sorting and organizing, developing, spotting, printing, web site output, and even slideshows
However, many of Photoshop's compositing and other power editing tools keep it well within the workflow
In this chapter, we'll look at how you may use Lightroom to do many of the things discussed earlier. Whether Lightroom is a workflow substitute or an aid is something you'll have to decide. Keep in mind that we expect you to be familiar with the Photoshop/Bridge/Adobe Camera RAW workflow before tackling this chapter, as Lightroom provides not just an alternative, but an extension to that workflow.
