5.4.1. Folders vs. Collections

I just wrote that "in the past" we used to need many folders to contain our images. But what about now? Both the Adobe Photo Downloader and Lightroom's Import dialog give you a chance to download your image to one all-encompassing folder (your Pictures folder, perhaps, or an external hard drive), and these dialogs can automatically create subfolders based on date.
