Have a Link Appear in a New Window

What if I’m adding a new post and I want to create a link for people to click on to go to Google? I don’t want them to go to Google in the same browser window, navigating away from my site. I want it to open in a new window. This can actually be done in WordPress in both the Visual tab and the HTML tab inside the code using a simple command.

Option One

In the WordPress Dashboard, click on the Posts button, choose Add New to add a new post, and then click on the Visual tab and start typing. Now, just highlight the text that you want to convert to a link to select it, and click the Insert/Edit Link button (it looks like a chain link) in the middle of the formatting bar.
