I mentioned back in volume 1 of this book series that, to have enough resolution to print a 16×20" print, you only needed an 8-megapixel camera. Of course, most folks will never print anything larger than an 8×10, so you could make the case that, for most photographers, 8 megapixels is actually overkill. That being said, what if you don’t make prints at all?
