This should really be called “Oversharpening Your Images for Print in Photoshop,” because that’s pretty much what you do. Here’s why: after you get your sharpening so it looks good onscreen, when you print your image, you’ll think it looks a little soft and that’s because you lose some of the sharpness you see onscreen during the printing process. So, to get around this, we oversharpen our images in Photoshop.
