I think one of the most wonderful things about shooting people is that they’re one of the few things that you’ll ever shoot that will actually talk to you. Think about it—if you shoot landscapes, or HDR shots, or architecture, or cars, or home interiors, it’s very unlikely that any of these will actually carry on a conversation with you, unless (and this is a big unless) you’re on LSD.
