Open a File in Camera Raw

There will be times when you’ll want to open your tone-mapped image in Camera Raw. Perhaps you just get along with the develop settings there better than adjustment layers in Photo shop, or maybe you’re trying to access the Sharpening and Lumi nance Noise Reduction features that are only available in Camera Raw. Either way, if you’d like to take that image into Camera Raw, click on File>Open (PC: Open As) in Photoshop. Select the image, but don’t click the Open button yet. From the Format (PC: Open As) pop-up menu, select Camera Raw. Now when you click Open, it will open the image in Camera Raw.
