Turning Workflow into the Next Story

The entire storytelling workflow is constructed in a way that lends itself to more stories. Not only does that mean more creative opportunities, but for those of us earning a living as photographers, it opens up job possibilities.

As those holding the reins to this process, we must remain flexible enough to see a new storyline emerging. Perhaps it’s one related to the story we’re currently telling, perhaps inspired by that story only in that it jogs another seemingly unrelated idea in our minds. Research opens up a multitude of doors where other stories may exist, and conversations and experiences with story characters and settings offer the same. The editing phase can be fruitful as well for generating story ideas.
