The top surface of the Sony Alpha SLT-A77 has several frequently accessed controls of its own. They are labeled in Figure 2.23:
Mode dial. Rotate this dial to switch among Scene modes and semi-automatic and manual exposure modes. You’ll find these exposure modes and options described in more detail in Chapter 4.
ISO button. This button gives you access to a menu for specifying ISO sensor sensitivity settings, from ISO 50 to ISO 16800, plus Auto and Multi Frame Noise Reduction (which makes an ISO-equivalent 25600 setting available). Some of these settings may not be available, depending on the camera’s other settings, including shooting mode and image quality.
