This section shows you how to choose an exposure mode. If you’d rather have the D300s make most of the decisions for you, just hold down the Mode button (see Figure 1.14) and rotate the main command dial until P (Program auto) appears on the top panel monochrome LCD. You can skip to “Choosing a Metering Mode” if you’d like to choose what areas of the frame the D300s interprets to calculate exposure. |
