Diving into the video-editing process can be a bit overwhelming. In addition to having to go through lots of raw material, you might have different video formats to contend with and no clear ideas for the flow of the sequence, or edited video. Defining your workflow, breaking the process down into steps, will help when the task feels unmanageably large, as it often does to new editors. No single step is terribly daunting; if you consider your workflow in individual pieces, you can get the job done easily.
