The image was featured in Crisp's monograph Hyper Passive, and Crisp describes the making of the book as a defining moment in the organization and dissemination of her stored research. She uses different methods and locations to compile her work, with large-scale prints in storage, and other materials such as objects, data, negatives and working prints, stored at home.
