S > Shutter Priority - Pg. 223

S Shutter Priority 223 Shutter priority is a semi-automatic exposure mode that lets the photographer choose a shutter speed while the camera automatically chooses a matching aperture to produce a good exposure. Shutter priority is ideal for times when a fast shutter speed is needed to prevent camera shake with long lenses, to capture peak action on the sports field or when capturing a bird in flight, as pictured here.
