C.4. Mailing Lists and Newsgroups

Here are some AppleScript-related lists and newsgroups that you might want to check out:

• lists.apple.com/mailman/listinfo/applescript-users: You can join the applescript-users mailing list and get e-mails sent to you whenever a message is posted to this mailing list. You can get on the mailing list by going to this URL. Also at this address, you'll find a link to the mailing list archives, where you can search and view previous messages.

• discussions.info.apple.com: This is the Apple bulletin board website (called Apple Discussions). Click on AppleScript under Software Product Forums on this page to get to the AppleScript discussions.

• macscripter.net: This site was mentioned under websites, but I mention it again here because of its extensive bulletin board about AppleScript.

• www.lsoft.com/scripts/wl.exe?L1=MACSCRPT&H=LISTSERV: An AppleScript mailing list maintained by Dartmouth College.

• alt.comp.lang.applescript: A newsgroup devoted to the AppleScript programming language. A good way to get access to this newsgroup is through http://groups.google.com.
