In this chapter we have looked at two of the most fundamental parts of the Mac UI: windows and menus. Both are fundamental to almost any graphical application on OS X.
We discussed the difference between windows, panels, and sheets and how to create all three. OS X provides several standard panels and sheets and we saw how to create these, as well as how to set various properties on them and load windows from nib files.
