8.1. How to Use This Chapter

Now that you’ve learned the basics of Objective-C and the Foundation classes, you’re probably feeling more confident about trying things out. There are quite a few examples in this chapter. The quickest way to learn about Cocoa’s standard controls is to try out each example as you encounter it. You can create a single Cocoa project in Xcode and add controls and code as you go. You can also simply read through the chapter to expose yourself to the concepts, and come back later to try out the examples by hand.
