    The software development kit (SDK) requires an Intel Mac running the Leopard or Snow Leopard OS, but I will not be giving guidance on how to use a Mac. David Pogue’s Mac OS X: The Missing Manual series of books provides a popular introduction to Mac OS X. I do encourage you to download the SDK and to actively try the examples. Although I explain how to use the development tools, I encourage you to explore the tools further yourself. They come with good in-built documentation.
