15. XAML > Declaring Namespaces - Pg. 516

Declaring Namespaces In addition to the two namespace declarations that are required in a XAML root element, you can reference the namespaces you create in your code-behind, or .NET FCL namespaces. The syntax for referencing these namespaces is a little different: In practice you don't need to worry too much about XAML namespace syntax. It's important to add declarations for FCL classes and classes in your project you want to reference, but Visual Studio Intellisense presents you with a list of available namespaces as soon as you type the equals sign, and once you choose one, it writes the correct declaration for you. Again, it just works. 516
