6.31. yyclearin

The macro yyclearin in an action discards a lookahead token if one has been read. It is most often useful in error recovery in an interactive parser to put the parser into a known state after an error:

    stmtlist: stmt | stmtlist stmt ;

    stmt: error  { reset_input(); yyclearin; } ;
