    9.1. Flex BlazeDS Architecture

    As illustrated in Figure 9-1, a BlazeDS application consists of a client—typically developed using Flex, AIR, or Ajax—and a Java EE web application that contains the BlazeDS server. The BlazeDS server allows you to connect to a BlazeDS destination using the RemoteObject, HTTPService, or WebService Flex component.
