    As I previously noted, this is not just a Flex book, and my aim is to teach you how to use AS and MXML properly and to help you understand important concepts such as the item renderer and data collection. At the end of the day, once you understand the basic concepts of layout containers, layout children, and so forth, using the Adobe Flex Builder or an online tutorial will be a quick learn, so we can focus this book on more important concepts.
